Today we are talking about one of our favorite new topics, budget luxury. Have you heard of it before? We learned about it recently and think it is an interesting way of considering a design style. We loved how it includes so many elements that we align with when styling a space.
But first, let’s define what budget luxury actually is. I tried to look it up online, but I actually couldn’t find it anywhere. So, I am going to share my version of the definition which may actually be more helpful for this exercise anyways.
Budget luxury is when extravagant living is attained on a small amount of money. It may take some extra planning, creative plans and lots of practice but it is doable!
So, now that you know what it is, you’ll want to know how to use it in your home décor, right? All right let’s cover three ways you can include budget luxury in the design of your home.
Thrifting
Well, of course we were going to say this! You can find high end items for such a steal when you are thrifting. It is the perfect way to add budget luxury to your home!
Upgrade Hardware
This one is a good one. It does not include tricky or time-consuming repainting, but it has all the same impact. If you thrift the new hardware, then all the better!
Curtains
Okay, we’ve talked about this before, but it is that important. When you have full curtains that are mounted correctly it will add an abundance of glamour.
And a bonus one of adding flowers. Any space will instantly be improved with flowers. I mean, they really do add a bit of romance, don’t they?
